If your business runs on people, not machines — this one’s for you.
You built it over years, with a crew you trust. Who you sell it to decides what happens to them, to your name and to you.
We’re The Blue Collar Partners. We’re the buyer — operators, not brokers.

What owners are up against

We buy businesses that run on people — sanitation, food safety, route work and the trades — keep the people, and run them ourselves.
We’ve run the routes, hired the crews and cleaned up the books. When we ask about your business, it’s because we want to understand the answer — not because it’s on somebody’s checklist.
Three things you can count on
Your people are taken care of.
People First Sanitation is our sanitation company, owned with the people who run it, and M2S is one we bought and folded into it. When we bought our sanitation businesses, the people running it kept running it — with better pay structures and a real career ladder.
You’ll know where you stand quickly, and we won’t chip your price at the end.
We hold a hard ceiling on what we pay and walk away from any deal that fails our screen. We’d rather pass than overpay now and chip your price at the eleventh hour — once your team is unsettled and your family is already picking out paint.
You deal with operators who own the company, start to finish.
The partners who shake your hand are the partners who close your deal and are still there after. The people running diligence know your trade: they’ve hired the crews, priced the routes and lost the accounts.
We already run a company built on people. Go talk to them.
Before you sign a thing, talk to the folks running People First Sanitation. Ask them anything. That’s the reference we want you to check. Ask us and we’ll put you in touch.

People First Sanitation
Contract sanitation for food manufacturers. Owned with the people who run it.
Our sanitation company

M2S
Food-plant sanitation. Bought and folded into People First Sanitation, with its people.
Bought and folded inWhat happens to your people, your name and you
Your people
- We buy the crew, not just the contracts. The men and women doing the work are the reason your business is worth anything at all. We treat them that way.
- Your foreman and your top rep are treated like the heroes they are.We build pay plans designed to pay them more than they make today, plus a real piece of ownership.
- Technology is a tool we put in your people’s hands, not a layoff plan.Routing, billing, scheduling, safety. Where a machine takes over a task, we retrain the person into better-paid work.
- Their I-9s, their workers’ comp, their benefits — we sweat those before you do.So a year after closing, nobody’s calling you about a problem in a file drawer you forgot existed.
- The person on the truck can own a piece of it.We want the people who built your business to have a real shot at the kind of money owners get — not just a paycheck.
Your name
You built something people trust. Our whole model depends on the next owner in your industry hearing that we did right by you.
You
- Stay or go — it’s your call. Some owners want out on day one. Some want to keep a hand in for a few years. We build the deal around the answer you actually want, not the one that’s convenient for us.
- The hand-off is built around your job, not a calendar. Before we close, we sit down with you and map what you do, what only you can do and what’s hardest to hand off. Some things take three weeks. Some take a year. We plan for both.
- Keep a piece if you want to.Sellers can roll 20% to 50% of their equity into the bigger company: real money off the table now, and a slice of what we’re building. A small company might sell for 4 times its yearly profit; a big one can sell for 10 times. We’ll walk you through the numbers on your deal so you can decide for yourself.
How a sale with us works
- 1
You talk to a partner.
One conversation about what you built and what you want next. No auction, no twenty firms in your files.
- 2
You get a straight answer.
Yes, or no and why. If it’s no, we’ll point you at somebody who might be your buyer, where we can.
- 3
You see the price and where every dollar goes.
What we can pay and why, in plain numbers, with the math: purchase price, the share you keep, deal costs, taxes, working capital (the cash the business needs to run) and post-closing bonuses to your team. All before you sign anything.
- 4
People who know your trade go through the business with you.
No associate you’ve never met asking for the same file a third time.
- 5
We close, and the hand-off starts.
It follows the plan we built with you.
What owners ask us first
“Are you private equity?”
Not the way most owners mean it. We’re operators: we buy companies and run them ourselves. The money comes from capital partners, including private equity, who invest alongside us in the bigger company we’re building.
“My books are a mess. Is that a problem?”
No. Almost every business we look at has messy books. Cleaning them up is our job, not yours, and we don’t use it as an excuse to chip your price.
“Will you load my company with debt?”
Most purchases carry some debt, ours included. What we won’t do is bury your company in it and squeeze it to pay it off.
“Do I need a broker?”
No. We’re the buyer, so you can talk to us directly. If you already work with a broker or a banker, bring them in.
“Will my lawyer and my CPA understand the deal?”
Yes. We keep the structure simple enough to explain at your kitchen table. Deals die when advisors can’t follow them, so we don’t build deals that need a decoder ring.
Tell us what you built.
One conversation with a partner. Whatever you tell us stays between us.
A partner gets back to you — not an associate.
